I was driving to Baton Rouge from Thibodaux the other day when the dreaded "Check Engine" light popped on. Everyone knows the gut punch that can make, especially so close to the holidays. My wife searched for a car repair shop near my place of work and found Bass Automotive. I'm glad she did! The folks who work there are some of the friendliest and most helpful you will find in Baton Rouge. Not only did they fix my car but provided me a ride to my job. This was a courtesy they didn't have to do but offered because they're just those kinds of people. Warm, friendly and actually care about their customers. I can't recommend Bass Automotive enough! If my "Check Engine" light ever comes on again, I can rest easy because I know my car will be in good hands!

I was referred to Bass by my brother who is in the car scene, but doesn?t live local. His car friends said if they were to take their cars to a shop, this would be it. I have now taken 2 of my 3 cars to Bass automotive and every time I was met with fast, honest, quality work. They are so friendly and trustworthy. Being a military family, we have lived all over the country and taken cars to many repair shops. I have never felt like I could completely trust a shop like I do when I go to Bass. I self diagnosed an issue that was going to be expensive to fix, and took the car there. They informed me it was something similar and way more affordable to fix. A dishonest person or dealership would have just taken my money and done the work. They have gotten me in twice now in somewhat emergency situations and I am so thankful to have found them. My family won?t ever go to another repair shop.

Bass fixed an odd manufacturer's defect in the floorboard of my Chevrolet Equinox and were professional, fairly priced and fast. I lived right up the road at the time and they were nice enough to give me a ride to and from the shop for the few days I was without a car.

Son Bass and his crew are absolutely amazing! They are not salesman, but tell you what needs fixed, and fix it right! Plus, their prices are extremely fair, and they are quick if you need it done in a hurry. I only take my cars, especially my classic, to them.

Super good people. I was having issues with my truck a/c. No shops around were able to get me in for a couple of days. Luckily the sweet lady at the dealership referred me to Bass automotive.
